Unlike other non-invasive body contouring and skin treatments, CellSound works to revitalize tissues at the cellular level. What Is Ultrasound Technology?
Physicians have deployed the healing properties of ultrasound technology in medicine for 50 years—it’s nothing new. CellSound, however, has harnessed the power of this technology to make it more effective and long lasting.
Conventional ultrasound technology generally loses efficacy within minutes of treatment. Ultrasound works by penetrating a barrier; in the case of medical treatments, this barrier is usually the skin. Once the ultrasound waves penetrate the skin, the tissue changes. At this point, the vibration effect stops, as does the ultrasound wave’s ability to impact the treatment area.
CellSound technology works around this cessation of treatment by utilizing an electric field to allow the full ultrasonic energy to reach the treatment area, thus creating a much more effective result.

How Does CellSound Work?
As we age, we see signs of this in wrinkles, creases, a loss of volume and elasticity, and stubborn pockets of fat throughout the body. The aging of tissue happens at the cellular level: as we age, our cells lose functionality. This affects blood vessels, tissues, and the amount of collagen and elastin our bodies produce.
CellSound’s ultrasound and electric fields increase blood flow, which causes an increase in nutrients, growth factors, and glucose absorption. By increasing the amount of glucose absorption, blood vessel walls are repaired, collagen and elastin’s elasticity is improved, and new collagen is created.
Regarding fat removal, CellSound technology penetrates to a maximum depth of 10 cm, reaching not just the subcutaneous fat but the visceral fat as well. CellSound delivers non-focused ultrasound combined with ElectroSonic Resonance, which allows for the release of stored lipid (fat) content in an exact replication of how fat cells would be naturally released with 30–45 minutes of aerobic exercise. This process depletes the body’s consumed carbohydrates and glucose, which typically change the body’s metabolic fuel to fat.
What Should I Expect During My CellSound Treatment?
CellSound requires no downtime, no recovery, and no pain. During your session, your technician will apply a lubricative gel before passing the CellSound handpiece over the treatment area(s). Many patients claim the sensation is like a warm, comfortable massage.
After a 40-minute treatment, you can return to your daily activities, including school or work.
When Will I See the Results from CellSound Treatments?
