HOW DOES FemiTight™ WORK?
The FemiTight™ procedure uses CO2 laser technology to gently heat the vaginal tissue. This laser energy resurfaces the tissue while triggering the production of collagen and elastin. The result is rejuvenated labia with continued results as collagen and elastin promote the growth of healthy skin cells.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING THE FemiTight™TREATMENT?
The FemiTight™ treatment is a comfortable procedure that lasts less than 30 minutes. During the treatment, the FemiLift™ handpiece will be placed just far enough into the vagina to target the entirety of the labia. Then, it will emit laser energy to the surrounding tissue. At this point, you may feel a mild warming sensation. However, patients are typically able to relax for the duration of the treatment.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER THE FemiTight™TREATMENT?
After the FemiTight™ treatment, there is no downtime or recovery period necessary. You will be able to resume work and other normal activities immediately after your appointment. However, we recommend that patients wait a minimum of 48 hours before resuming sexual intercourse.
WHen will i notice results from FemiTight™?
Most patients begin to notice results from treatment within a few weeks, after the newly produced collagen and elastin take effect in the vaginal tissue. It can take up to two or three months for the full effects of treatment to become noticeable. During this time, patients enjoy a gradual improvement in their results that can last up to six months after treatment. Although many patients achieve significant improvement after just one treatment, some patients may need a series of up to three treatments for optimal results.
